Republic Day celebrates the adoption of India’s Constitution and the country’s transformation into a republic on January 26, 1950. Each year, this occasion is filled with vibrant military and cultural festivities. In New Delhi, armed forces personnel march proudly along Kartavya Path, showcasing an impressive display of military prowess and unity. The epic spectacle on Kartavya Path captivates the nation, inspiring pride and patriotism in the hearts of all who witness it. It truly embodies the spirit of India!

As a part of Republic Day Celebrations-2025, Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov calls on the citizens to participate in “Invitation Card Design Competition” on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day and do their bit to strengthen India’s Republic and Democratic values.

Gratification:
1. There are 3 cash prizes for top 3 entries of Rs. 10,000/- each.
2. Top 250 participants along with one companion (spouse/guardian/relative etc.) would be invited for witnessing the Republic Day Parade, 2025 at Kartavyapath, New Delhi.

  1. Participant must be a Citizen of India.
  2. The entries will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English.
  3. An individual can participate only one time.
  4. The top 250 participants, selected for issuing invitation for Republic Day Parade 2025 at Kartavyapath, New Delhi are requested to provide following mandatory details in respect of self and one companion (Guardian/ Spouse/Relative etc.)
  5. Participant will, therefore, require to provide only valid e-mail & mobile as further correspondence, if any, seeking the details for issuing Invitation Card & payment of winning prize will only be made via e-mail. Therefore, participant is requested to keep regular watch on his/her e-mail.
  6. One mobile number & one email ID cannot be used by more than one participant for one competition/quiz during Republic Day Parade 2025.
  7. On receipt of e-mail or call from Ministry of Defence three winners will require to submit requisite documents for releasing winning prize/payment viz. ID proof & Bank Details, copy of canceled cheque etc.
  8. It may be noted that all the expenses related to travel, lodging, food etc. to attend the ceremony will be borne by the individual himself/herself.
  9. However, traveling in Delhi Metro toward to & fro journey for witnessing the Parade will be free of charge on showing e-invitation at any of Delhi Metro Station.
  10. . Entries should be in JPG or PDF format whether hand designed or computerized not exceeding the maximum size of 4 MB. If the reference of any image/logo has been taken in the preparation of design, participant is required to upload the referred image along with the design.
  11. Use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the competition, will result rejection of participation.
  12. No copy right image should be used and an undertaking regarding the same to be furnished. Non-furnishing of the same will render the selection null and void. Furthermore, the Ministry of Defence & MyGov reserves all rights in this regard.
  13. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the competition, are not eligible to participate in the competition. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
  14. Winners will be announced on the basis of screening of the entries by a designated Screening Committee in Ministry of Defence. Decision of the Screening Committee may not be challenged further in any mode.
  15. The designs of the Invitation Cards furnished by any participants may be used by Ministry of Defence partially or fully for preparing Invitation Cards. Any claim for the copyright of the designs submitted during the ibid competition will not be made by the participants at any span of time.
    Therefore, as per the requirement of Ministry of Defence for designing of Invitation Cards, any of the participants may be asked to submit the details, concept note, editable design in raw format (preferably in native design tool format) including the embedded images used in the design.
