YUVA platform is envisaged to be a potential changemaker in transforming the youth and unlocking their potential to advance India. It will be a one-stop technology platform to provide services and information to approximately 38 Cr youth, which will help them in leveraging their potential, while also being effective in creating a more enabled and positive society and, Nation.logo contest online
Department of Youth Affairs pursues the twin objectives of personality building and nation building, i.e., developing youth’s personality and involving them in various nation-building activities.
Department of Youth Affairs (DoYA) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports acts as a facilitator and catalytic agent for all activities related to youth.
In this regard, the Department of Youth Affairs in collaboration with MyGov – Digital India Corporation hosting a Logo Design Contest for YUVA Platform where we will be inviting citizens to show their creativity and create a suitable Logo that can be easily relatable to the concept of the YUVA platform for its popularisation and broader outreach.
Technical Parameters:
1. Participants should upload the logo in JPEG/ JPG/ PNG format only.
The logo should be designed on a digital platform.
2. The winner of the competition shall be required to submit the design in an editable and open file format.
3. Participants should ensure that the original designs are submitted.
4. Each entry should submit a detailed logic and explanation of rational and creative thoughts (not more than 100 words) on the designed logo in a soft copy.
5. The logo should be designed in a colored format. The size of the logo may vary from 5cm*5cm to 30cm*30cm in either portrait or landscape mode.
6. The logo should be usable on the website/ social media such as Twitter/ Facebook, press releases, and on printable such as stationery, signage, labels, etc., magazines, commercials, holdings, standees, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, souvenirs, and other publicity and marketing material for the promotion of YUVA.
7. The logo image should be in high resolution with a minimum of 300 DPI.
8. Logo should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on-screen at 100%.
9. Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
10. The logo design should not be imprinted or watermarked.
Evaluation Criteria:
1. The entries will be judged will be selected on the basis following criteria:
– Alignment to Name and overall theme of YUVA
– Creativity
– Originality
– Simplicity
– Inspirational element
2. In case of more than the required winners in any category, further selection shall be done with the help of Draw.
3. The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants or any decision of the Selection Committee.
Rewards:
The Selected Entry shall be rewarded with a cash prize worth Rs. 15,000.

Terms and Conditions
- The competition is open to all Indian citizens.
- The Department of Youth Affairs (DoYA) hosts the competition in collaboration with
MyGov – DIC. - The entry must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright
Act, 1957, and must not infringe on the intellectual rights of any third party. The
Department of Youth Affairs and MyGov, DIC are not responsible for copyright violations
or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants. - The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
- Participants should only upload the logo in JPEG / PNG / SVG / PDF format.
- One participant can submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the participant shall lead
to disqualification. - Once submitted for the competition, copyrights of the Logo will solely be with the
Department of Youth Affairs (DoYA). - The participant should make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated
since this will be used for further communication. This includes details such as name,
photo, complete postal address, email ID, and phone number. Entries with incomplete
profiles shall not be considered. - MyGov reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or Terms
and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the
Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or the cancellation of
the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform.
10.The winning entries may be used by the Department of Youth Affairs (DoYA), for
promotional and display purposes, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication)
materials, and for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
11.All the entries received by MyGov would be assessed by a committee of judges for
selecting the entries. The decision of the Committee shall be final and binding.
12.The entry should not have been previously published in any print or digital media.
13.The winners have to share their consent to the use of their names in any publicity carried
out.
14.The winners will be declared via the Winner announcement blog (blog.mygov.in). There
will be no notification to participants not selected as winners.
15.The Selection Committee reserves the right to reject any entry that it does not feel is - suitable or appropriate or does not conform to any of the conditions listed above.
- 16.All disputes/legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses
- incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
- 17.Entries must be made by the closing date and in the manner set out in the contest terms
- and conditions. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- 18.Department of Youth Affairs (DoYA) and MyGov accepts no responsibility for any
- damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by any participants in entering the contest,
- including as a result of any participant winning or not winning any prize.
- 19.Plagiarism of any nature would not be allowed.
- 20.Winner shall be required to provide the original open-source file of the designed.
